I collaborated with an international team across Amsterdam, Canada, France and Madrid to develop the visual motion universe for a Massive Music activation at a party in Cannes. We built a visual world inspired by anti-design principles and translated it into multiple deliverables. The highlight was bringing it all to life through motion, creating a 4-minute visual piece projected during the main party.
We use a hybrid approach that combines AI-generated imagery with human-made animation to create beautiful, engaging visuals that work both as seamless loops and as fully realized pieces. In a world shaped by AI and the speed of culture, relevance is no longer planned. It’s immediate. Creativity reacts, adapts and happens in real time, embracing the chaos instead of resisting it.
My role was Motion Director and animator for the motion visuals. I defined the production timeline under a tight deadline and led a team of three animators and art directors, ensuring all assets were animated consistently within the same visual world. I focused on maintaining coherence across the entire activation and delivering a strong, unified motion piece aligned with the creative direction.
